Percona toolkit 2.1.5
Percona toolkit 2.1.5 is now available on Dotdeb for Debian 6.0 “Squeeze”. It includes only 3 bug fixes :
- pt-table-checksum 2.1.4 doesn’t detect diffs on Percona XtraDB Cluster nodes
- pt-table-checksum 2.1.4 miscategorizes Percona XtraDB Cluster-based slaves as cluster nodes
- pt-table-sync 2.1.4 –version-check may not work with HTTPS/SSL

Percona toolkit 2.1.4
Percona toolkit 2.1.4 is now available on Dotdeb for Debian 6.0 “Squeeze”. It includes 26 bug fixes and three new features:
- Making pt-table-checksum work with Percona XtraDB Cluster,
- adding a --run-time option to pt-table-checksum,
- and implementing the “Version Check” feature, enabled through the --version-check switch

MySQL 5.5.28
The packages of MySQL 5.5.28 are now available for Debian 6.0 “Squeeze” on both amd64 and i386 architectures. They fixes some InnoDB-, partition- and replication-related issues.
The Pinba engine has also been rebuilt to be used with the new version.

Dotdeb’s packages of Nginx 1.2.4 are now available for Debian 6.0 “Squeeze” (amd64/i386). They fix some minor bugs, please take a look at Nginx’ official Changelog before upgrading.
Please also note that Passenger has been upgraded to the 3.0.17 version.

PHP 5.4.7 and PHP 5.3.17
On september 13th 2012, the PHP group has released PHP 5.4.7 and PHP 5.3.17, that bring ~20 bug fixes.
The corresponding packages are now available on Dotdeb for Debian 6.0 “Squeeze” on both amd64 and i386 architectures with the following changes :
- php5-suhosin is not a recommendation from php5-common anymore.
- php5-xcache now includes the admin web interface files (closes #10).
- php5-apc includes APC 3.1.13 for PHP 5.4, and has been rollbacked to APC 3.1.9 for PHP 5.3 for more stability.
About the PHP-FPM and APC issues, the packages include all that has been committed/released about the many bug reports on these subjects. I’m still watching any activity that would allow me to provide better packages.
